The Black is Back Coalition for Social Justice, Peace and Reparations, announces its endorsement of candidates, Carla Coffee Wright for US Senate for Missouri and Marco Amaral, who is running for California State Superintendent of Public Instruction in San Diego, CA. Prior to seeking an endorsement from the Coalition, each candidate completed an application that stated their particular platforms. While the coalition has endorsed other candidates in past years, this year, each candidate participated in the Coalition’s 6th Annual Electoral Campaign school which was held in St. Louis, MO on April 9 & 10, 2022 where they completed the interview process and were able to publicly put forward their individual progressive platforms. platforms.
